Get a Disability Insurance Quote Tailored for Early-Career Physicians

Why It Matters

Physicians spend years training and often work in demanding environments. If something unexpected prevents you from working, your income and everything it supports could be at risk.

That is why disability insurance is so important. You deserve a policy, and a professional guiding you, who understands the unique challenges of early-career physicians.

How It Works (6 Steps):

Step 1: Fill out a short form

Share a few details to get your personalized quote.

Step 2: Review your options

We’ll compare top carriers side by side in a one-hour video meeting and decide which one makes the most sense.

Step 3: Complete the application

In a separate 30-minute meeting, we’ll walk through the application together and get it submitted.

Step 4: Underwriting

The carrier reviews your health and finances (sometimes a short exam).

Step 5: Finalize policy & pay premium

Once approved, you’ll pay your first premium and your coverage begins.

Step 6: Ongoing support

I’ll be here for updates, questions, or claims… through residency, fellowship, and beyond.

Perks of Working Together

    • Student Loan Consultation – Complimentary (optional)
Normally $299, included at no cost if you’d like help with loans.

    • Claims Concierge
We’ll walk you through every step if you ever need to file a claim.

    • RightCapital Access (optional)
A secure online hub to keep your finances organized.

    • Discounted Planning Fee
Lower rates available while you’re in training or just starting as an attending.

Transparency and How I’m Paid

I believe you deserve to know exactly how this works. I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and an independent insurance agent. That means:

    • If you choose to purchase a policy through me, the insurance company pays me a commission, not you.
    • I will always put your best interests first and explain how I am compensated before you make any decision.

Commission Overview

    • First year: Carriers typically pay 50 to 60 percent of the first year premium.
    • Years 2 to 10: Renewals are much smaller, usually 2 to 5 percent.

💡 Example: If your first year premium is $2,000, my commission would be about $1,000 to $1,200 in the first year, and far less after that.
